Une tentative d'update à propos des Boys.
Il y a quelquejours j'ai eu la chance d'avoir une conversation avec quelqu'un dans l'industrie de la musique en rapport avec les BackStreet Boys. C'était long mais voici les points importants de la discussion.
1. Selon le contrat que les Boys ont avec leur 'management', AJ, Nick, Howie, Brian, and Kevin NE SONT PAS responsable de Weird World. Leur 'management' a choisi MusicToday pour s'occuper du fanclub et ils n'ont aucun control là dessus.
2. Ensuite, les BsB ne sont pas libres de faire ce qu'ils veulent en terme de promotion et concours. (radio ou autres). Jive possède leurs contrats. Je pensais que leur contrat était pour 5 ans mais j'avais tort. LE contrat qu'ils ont signes juste apres Millenium est pour 5 albums, pas 5 années. Ils appartiennent en qq'sortes à Jive en ce moment, et à moins que Jive dise qu'ils peuvent aller à une station de radio, ils ne peuvent pas à cause de leur contrat qui les en empèche légalement.
3. J'ai demandé à cette personne de donner une note a cette album sur une échelle de 1-10. (10 étant le meilleur et 1 le pire). Ma source lui donne un 20 et dit qu'il y a un mix de 'vieux BsB' mais quil y a aussi des nouveaux styles. Comme toujours, on m'a dit que meme si l'album est 'progressif' il y a toujours la meme signature BsB que tout le monde a appris à connaitre et aimer.
4. Il n'y a aucune date de sortie officielle autre que durant l'été 2007. Je n'ai pas d'information sur le nombre de chansons qui seront sur le CD mais on m'a dit que le choix des chansons qui seront sur l'album n'était pas encore fait.
5. On m'a aussi expliqué que les Boys sont au courant que quelque fans sont déçus que plusieurs chansons n'aient pas été choisies pour être sur certains albums précédents. En réponse à ceci, ils pensent éventuellement sortir un 'uncut' album avec toutes les chansons exclus des autres CD.

An attempt at update in connection with the Servant boys. A few days ago I had the chance to have a conversation with somebody in the industry of the music in connection with BackStreet Boys. It was long but here the important points of the discussion.
1. According to the contract that the Servant boys have with their ' management', AJ, Nick, Howie, Brian, and Kevin ARE NOT responsible for Weird World. Their ' management' chose MusicToday to be occupied of the fanclub and they do not have any control there above.
2. Then, BsB are not free to do what they want in term of promotion and contest (radio or different). Jive has their contracts. I thought that their contract was for 5 years but I was wrong. The contract that they have right signs after Millenium is for 5 albums, not 5 years. They belong in some kinds to Jive in this moment, and unless Jive says that they can go to a station of radio, they cannot because of their contract which legally prevents them.
3. I asked this person to give a note has this album on a scale of 1-10. (10 being best and the 1 the worst). My source gives him one 20 and known as that there is one mix of ' BsB' old man but quil has there also new styles. As always, it was said to me that same if the album is ' progressif' there is always the same BsB signature that everyone learned how to know and like.
